RESOLVED, that the sum of $25,000 is hereby appropriated to be added to account Z6801792 59550.
EXPLANATORY COMMENTS
The Ruth Brown Foundation has generously agreed to underwrite the design and installation of a mural at the new Hamilton Ave. School. The cost of the project is estimated to be $22,000 -$25,000. Last fall a committee selected Evergreen Painting Studios, Inc. to execute the mural, based on a request for proposals issued last fall. Attorney Mike Harris, representing the Foundation, will participate along with District leaders, Hamilton Ave. School community and Building Committee members in the final design selection.
